Your tax calculation (SA302) shows:Â
- your total income on which tax is dueÂ
- any allowances and relief you haveÂ
- the total amount you owe for the tax yearÂ
- how HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has worked out the amount you oweÂ
It does not include any:Â
- payments on account (payments towards your next bill) you have madeÂ
- payments you have made into a
- other outstanding amounts (such as unpaid tax or penalties)Â

You cannot view your calculation for up to 72 hours after you submit your return. If your payment is due in this time, you will need to save a copy of this before you submit.
