Abstract
The study estimates the carbon sequestration potential of activities under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment, Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), India바카라 사이트™s flagship employment guarantee programme, contributing towards India바카라 사이트™s international commitment on carbon sinks. The study is highly significant at this time, being in line with the Paris Climate Agreement reporting requirements under the Katowice Climate Package which recommends estimation and reporting of mitigation co-benefits of adaptation actions.
