Under fault conditions, the fuse may not be able to function and could lead to the product overheating, causing a fire. Additionally, the supply cord was inappropriately sized, making it prone to overheating and breaking, presenting a risk of fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
