TCM1000255 - How to check if Full Time Education (FTE) needs to be confirmed

Note: You can check if FTE needs to be confirmed using Child Benefit Service.

Step 1

Calculate the age of the child or young person

If today바카라 사이트™s date is on or after 1 September following the child or young person바카라 사이트™s sixteenth birthday, go to Step 2

If today바카라 사이트™s date isn바카라 사이트™t on or after 1 September following the child or young person바카라 사이트™s sixteenth birthday, there is no need to confirm the FTE.

Step 2

  • access Child Benefit Service desktop icon
  • enter the customer바카라 사이트™s NINO in the upper navigation bar and select 바카라 사이트˜search바카라 사이트™
  • check the customer바카라 사이트™s name and address in the top left corner of the screen to ensure you select the correct customer details
  • check childrens summary for exclusion details of the child
  • go to Step 3

If there is no Child Benefitrecord, go to Step 5

  • make a note of the AR code number and exclusion date as shown for the child or young person

If the AR code showing is 바카라 사이트˜AR9163바카라 사이트™, 바카라 사이트˜AR9165바카라 사이트™, 바카라 사이트˜AR9193바카라 사이트™ or 바카라 사이트˜AR9198바카라 사이트™, go to Step 4

If the AR code showing is not 바카라 사이트˜AR9163바카라 사이트™, 바카라 사이트˜바카라 사이트˜AR9165바카라 사이트™, 바카라 사이트˜AR9193바카라 사이트™ or 바카라 사이트˜AR9198바카라 사이트™, there is no need to confirm the FTE.

If there are not any codes showing for the child or young person, there is no need to confirm the FTE.

Step 4

Compare the 바카라 사이트˜EX바카라 사이트™ date to today바카라 사이트™s date

If the바카라 사이트™EX바카라 사이트™ date is after today바카라 사이트™s date, there is no need to confirm the FTE.

If the바카라 사이트™EX바카라 사이트™ date is on or before today바카라 사이트™s date, the FTE must be confirmed.

Step 5

On the tax credits computer, access the customer바카라 사이트™s claim and navigate to the 바카라 사이트˜Children바카라 사이트™ screen to check if 바카라 사이트˜FTE바카라 사이트™ is showing to the right of the child바카라 사이트™ or young person바카라 사이트™s details

If 바카라 사이트˜FTE바카라 사이트™ is showing to the right of the child바카라 사이트™s or young person바카라 사이트™s details, the FTE needs to be confirmed.

If 바카라 사이트˜FTE바카라 사이트™ isn바카라 사이트™t showing to the right of the child바카라 사이트™s or young person바카라 사이트™s details, there is no need to confirm the FTE.
