We have a service for Welsh companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) who prefer to use the Welsh language.

We do not have a Welsh language line. If you ask to speak to a Welsh speaker, you will be transferred to a Welsh speaker in line with our Welsh Language Scheme.

Filing company information in Welsh

We provide a where you can access bilingual forms on the 바카라 사이트楥ompany overview바카라 사이트� page.

Bilingual forms

You can only use bilingual forms (English and Welsh) if your company바카라 사이트檚 jurisdiction is 바카라 사이트榃ales바카라 사이트� (instead of 바카라 사이트楨ngland and Wales바카라 사이트�).

You can change your jurisdiction by filing:

Documents you can send in Welsh without a certified translation

Welsh companies or LLPs can send us the following documents in Welsh without a certified translation into English. We바카라 사이트檒l arrange for a certified English translation and both will be available on the Companies House register.

You can file:

  • a company바카라 사이트檚 memorandum of association
  • a company바카라 사이트檚 articles
  • a community interest company report
  • a resolution or agreement
  • a declaration of a community interest company
  • annual accounts and reports
  • revised accounts and report and any auditor바카라 사이트檚 report on revised accounts and reports
  • a document which must be appended to group accounts

Welsh companies or LLPs can send us a certified Welsh translation of any document usually filed in English. This includes any documents you바카라 사이트檝e already filed.

What a Welsh company or LLP is

A Welsh company or LLP is one that:

  • told Companies House when it incorporated that its registered office would be in Wales, rather than England and Wales
  • has a registered office address in Wales

This is under section 88 of the Companies Act 2006.

A Welsh company can:

  • have a Welsh company name
  • have a Welsh name ending, for example cyfyngedig, cwmni cyfyngedig cyhoeddus
  • file statutory documents in Welsh

This does not apply to companies who told Companies House that their registered office would be in England and Wales.
