Information request
Please could you provide me with the following:
Please supply me with all correspondence to and from the SSAC relating to the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Amendment Regulations 2008 SI 2008/441, including committee papers and briefings when the regulations were discussed.
Response
Having undertaken a search of the Committee바카라 사이트™s registered paper files and its electronic records from 2008, I confirm that the Committee holds the following information which I have provided alongside this letter:
1. A letter from the Department for Work and Pensions to the Social Security Advisory Committee (SSAC), dated 18 January 2008, outlining the proposed changes and a copy of the draft Statutory Instrument which accompanied that letter
2. A copy of the SSAC secretariat바카라 사이트™s advice note to Committee members.
The Committee바카라 사이트™s summary of regulations scrutinised in 2008 confirms that the Committee did not require these regulations to be presented at a Committee meeting, and that it agreed they could proceed without taking further evidence from officials.
Please note that I have redacted the details of the officials named in the documentation in accordance with Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
