The Environment Agency (EA) and the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) have developed an assessment process - 바카라 사이트˜Generic Design Assessment바카라 사이트™ (GDA) - which enables them to scrutinise new nuclear power station designs before they are built. It means they can identify any potential design or technical issues early and ask the reactor designer to address them.

Horizon Nuclear Power is developing proposals to use the UK Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (UK ABWR) in new nuclear power stations at Wylfa, Anglesey and Oldbury, South Gloucestershire.
The Office for Nuclear Regulation and the Environment Agency, working with , are ensuring that any new nuclear power stations built in the UK will meet high standards of safety, security, environmental protection and waste management.
Any nuclear power station design company going through GDA is required to set up a website, publish information about the design and invite comments and questions about it. You can make a comment or ask a question and the design company will respond to you. The regulators will see the comments and questions submitted and the responses provided and can use these to help inform their work. The comments process stays open throughout GDA until about 4 months before they make their decisions about the reactor.
