In 2003 바카라 사이트 set up CoRWM to consider how to manage the UK바카라 사이트™s higher activity radioactive waste in the long term, protecting people and the environment.

In July 2006 CoRWM reported to 바카라 사이트 recommending:

  • Geological disposal is the best available long term solution
  • Safe and secure interim storage is needed in the meantime
  • Further research & development is needed

바카라 사이트 later accepted these recommendations leading to a White Paper, published in 2008 on Managing Radioactive Waste Safely.
