Technical notice: transfer of National Disease Registration Service from Public Health England to NHS Digital

On 1 October 2021, as part of the government바카라 사이트™s strategy to transform the public health system in England, responsibility, and management of a variety of data collections and services transfer from Public Health England (PHE) to other NHS bodies.
The responsibility for the management of the National Disease Registration Service (NDRS), a collection of data on all cancers, rare diseases and congenital anomalies diagnosed each year in England, is transferring from PHE to NHS Digital on 1 October 2021. NHS Digital will become the data controller for this data.
Bringing together NDRS바카라 사이트™s and NHS Digital바카라 사이트™s data, capability and technical expertise will provide significant benefits for patients, clinicians, and the wider health and social care system over coming years by providing a more comprehensive data service for the NHS.
There will be minimal change to current processes from 1 October and all communication channels will be maintained.
