For maps of the high speed rail line from the West Midlands to Manchester and Leeds see the HS2 phase two initial preferred route plan and profile maps.

About the maps

This set of maps provides a detailed depiction of the HS2 London to West Midlands line of route.

The bottom portion of each map depicts the profile of the line in relation to the ground - for example, showing where the line is in a cutting or on an embankment, bridge or viaduct.

This set of maps provides a detailed depiction of the HS2-HS1 link at a scale of 1:1250.

  • Erratum: The previous version of the drawing showed a road extending into the orange area which is the Crossrail depot. This revised version retains the road but moves it out of the Crossrail depot
