In July 2011, the 바카라 사이트 published the draft Hazardous Waste NPS and associated documents for public consultation and Parliamentary scrutiny. The public consultation was held between 11 July and 20 October 2011. The 바카라 사이트 received 28 responses to the public consultation.

A debate on the draft NPS was held in the Grand Committee House of Lords on 12 October 2011. The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Committee published its report into the draft Hazardous Waste NPS on 14 December 2011.
