On 18 December 2020, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published the of its market investigation into the funeral market (covering funeral directors and crematoria specifically). This is a significant contribution to the understanding of how this distinctive market operates. This document sets out the government바카라 사이트™s response to the final report and the CMA바카라 사이트™s recommendations. The response commits the government to:

  • work with the sector to ensure effective co-regulation, developing a set of quality standards for funeral directors
  • evaluating and reviewing the effectiveness of this co-regulation model
