Defra has consulted on plans to introduce new environmental targets under the Environment Act 2021. These targets will help meet the government바카라 사이트檚 vision of leaving the environment in a better state than it was found. See the full Defra consultation.

This publication covers the Environment Agency바카라 사이트檚 response to the consultation.

Along with the 25 Year Environment Plan (Environmental Improvement Plan), existing targets and other measures in the Environment Act, the proposed targets provide a good platform from which to make progress towards the government바카라 사이트檚 long-term environmental goals.
