Civil Appeals Office fees (from 8 April 2025) and guidance if you do not have a legal representative

The following fees are currently payable for cases filed under part 52 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Permission to appeal
Where permission to appeal or an extension of time for appealing (or both) are applied for:

- filing a respondent바카라 사이트™s notice where the respondent is appealing

The notice must be stamped with the fee.
Where permission to appeal is not required or has been granted by the lower court on:

- filing a respondent바카라 사이트™s notice where the respondent is appealing

Filing a notice or questionnaire
On filing an appeal questionnaire

The appeal questionnaire must be stamped with the fee.
This fee does not need to be paid if the appellant or respondent has filed a permission to appeal.
On filing a respondent바카라 사이트™s notice where the respondent wishes to ask the appeal court to uphold the order of the lower court for reasons different from or additional to those given by the lower court

On filing an application notice

This fee does not need to be paid for an application made in an appellant바카라 사이트™s notice or respondent바카라 사이트™s notice.

Get help with the fee
You may be able to get help with the court fees if you:
- are in receipt of benefits
- are not able to claim legal aid
- can demonstrate severe financial hardship
