British Businesses in Cameroon held their first Business Networking Event for the year 2014 on Wednesday 29 January in Douala. The Networking Event is a forum for UK businesses in Cameroon to network and share valuable information on some of the strategic sectors of the economy.

During the event, Brian Olley, (British High Commissioner to Cameroon) talked about the work done on the Anti-Corruption Campaign between the Business Coalition Against Corruption (BCAC) and the government of Cameroon; Elias Pungong and his team from Ernst & Young looked at the ax breaks and its impact on business바카라 사이트�; Edwin Fongod, (IT Director of Cameroon바카라 사이트檚 customs) did a presentation on 바카라 사이트渢he changing Customs environment바카라 사이트�; While Mathieu Mandeng, (CEO Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon) looked at 바카라 사이트渢he Cameroon Banking landscape바카라 사이트�.

More than fourteen UK businesses in Cameroon attended the event. The next edition is expected by March 2014.
