Details

The benefit cap places a limit on the total amount of benefits that out of work households can receive. It is set at:

  • £500 a week for couples (with or without children living with them) and lone parents whose children live with them
  • £350 a week for single adults who don바카라 사이트™t have children, or whose children don바카라 사이트™t live with them.

The cap was introduced in a phased roll-out from April 2013.

For this research, Ipsos MORI surveyed 1,200 claimants who were affected by the cap. They conducted interviews by phone between 7 and 26 February 2014.

The survey forms part of DWP바카라 사이트™s evaluation of the benefit cap.
