This report summarises analysis undertaken to help inform proposed amendments to Part V of the Police Act 1997, covering proposed amendments to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure rules. The amendments remove two rules that disclose some or all an applicant바카라 사이트™s criminal record history: the 바카라 사이트˜multiple conviction바카라 사이트™ and 바카라 사이트˜youth caution바카라 사이트™ rules. The analysis is based on a DBS dataset covering applications in 2015 to 2016.

If the 바카라 사이트˜multiple conviction바카라 사이트™ rule was removed retrospectively, a total of 41,041 applicants to the DBS in 2015 to 2016 would no longer have their criminal records disclosed. The equivalent figure for the 바카라 사이트˜youth caution바카라 사이트™ rule was 5,585 applicants, of which 1% related to cautions for offences defined as 바카라 사이트˜serious바카라 사이트™ and 바카라 사이트˜recent바카라 사이트™.
