Dame Louise Casey CB
Biography
Louise Casey became Director General, Casey Review Team on 20 July 2015. At the request of the Prime Minister, she led a review into opportunity and integration in some of our most isolated communities.
Career
Louise started her career in the social welfare sector and has held the following roles:
- Deputy Director of Shelter, the homelessness charity, from 1992 to 1999
- Director of the Home Office바카라 사이트™s Anti-social Behaviour Unit
- Head of the cross-government Respect Task Force, tackling anti-social behaviour
- Director General in the Home Office, heading up the Neighbourhood Crime and Justice Group
- the first independent Commissioner for Victims and Witnesses, representing the interests of victims and witnesses in Whitehall and the criminal justice system
- Director General of the Troubled Families Team
Louise received the Companion of the Order of Bath (CB) in the Queen바카라 사이트™s Birthday Honours list 2008 and Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the Queen바카라 사이트™s Birthday Honours 2016 for services to families and vulnerable people.
