Driving examiner strike: candidates urged to attend tests
Driving test candidates with tests on Wednesday 20 March should still come for their test despite the threat of strike action by examiners.
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Chief Executive Rosemary Thew said:
I바카라 사이트™m so sorry that such an important day for you may be disrupted due to strike action. We바카라 사이트™re doing our best to minimise any inconvenience.
We바카라 사이트™re asking you to come for your test as normal as there바카라 사이트™s still a chance it will go ahead. Not all examiners are members of the Public and Commercial Services union and even if they are, we can바카라 사이트™t be sure that they바카라 사이트™ll support the strike.
You won바카라 사이트™t have to contact DSA to rebook if you can바카라 사이트™t take your test because of the strike action. You should hear from the agency with a new date within 5 to 10 working days.
Out-of-pocket expenses
You can claim out-of-pocket expenses if your test is cancelled, but you must have turned up for your test to do this. If you don바카라 사이트™t turn up, you바카라 사이트™ll have to rebook your own test and you won바카라 사이트™t be able to claim expenses.
Cancelling or changing your test
You바카라 사이트™ll still be able to book, change or cancel practical driving tests online on 바카라 사이트.
Theory tests
Theory tests aren바카라 사이트™t affected by the strike action and will be taking place as planned.
Customer service centre
DSA바카라 사이트™s customer service centre for practical tests might also be affected by strike action on 20 March. DSA바카라 사이트™s online services won바카라 사이트™t be affected.
