British High Commissioner in electric car rally
Newly arrived British High Commissioner Vikki Dean and her family will take part in the Megapower Electric Vehicle Rally this weekend.
The Rally, funded by the British High Commission, will feature teams of drivers in electric cars and aims to raise public awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles for Barbados.
The fun event will also include leading proponents of renewable energy, including Senator Darcy Boyce, whose energy ministry is closely involved in the shift to renewables and Minister of Transport Michael Lashley.
