British Embassy Israel holds Remembrance Sunday ceremony
Ambassador Quarrey offered thanks to the members of the Association of Jewish Ex-servicemen at the ceremony held at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in Ramle.

The British Embassy in Israel held a ceremony honouring those who served with the British Armed Forces last Sunday at the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Ramle at 10:30am.
Ambassadors and Defence Attachés from several countries attended the ceremony and paid their respects to the fallen, alongside serving military, veterans and dignitaries from across the world.
Ambassador Quarrey said:
On this day, 13 November, exactly a hundred years ago, the Allies launched the attack at Ancre which was to be the last offensive of that battle.
We who were not there can바카라 사이트™t know but we must try and understand a little more, we must reflect and most importantly we must remember.
We offer particular thanks and a warm welcome to the members of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen who are here today. We are honoured that you are here. We are grateful for your service.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in honour of the veterans and their families at the Ambassador바카라 사이트™s Residence in Ramat Gan.
