The A1 in Northumberland 바카라 사이트“ Morpeth to Ellingham application has today been granted development consent by the Secretary of State for Transport.

The project proposes thirteen miles of upgrades to dual the carriageway linking Morpeth and Alnwick bypasses with the dual carriageway near Ellingham, to create a continuous dual carriageway from Newcastle to Ellingham.바카라 사이트¯Â 

The application was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration by National Highways on 7 July 2020 and accepted for Examination on 4 August 2020.바카라 사이트¯Â 

Following an Examination during which the public, Statutory Consultees and Interested Parties were given the opportunity to give evidence to the Examining Authority, recommendations were made to the Secretary of State on 5 October 2021.바카라 사이트¯바카라 사이트¯Â 

This is the 52nd transport application out of 138 applications examined to date and was again completed by the Planning Inspectorate within the statutory timescale laid down in the Planning Act 2008.바카라 사이트¯바카라 사이트¯Â 

Local communities continue to be given the opportunity of being involved in the examination of projects that may affect them. Local people, the local authority and other Interested Parties were able to participate in this six-month Examination.바카라 사이트¯바카라 사이트¯Â 

The Examining Authority listened and gave full consideration to all local views and the evidence gathered during the Examination before making its recommendation to the Secretary of State.바카라 사이트¯Â
