This consultation is about the Environment Agency바카라 사이트™s proposed new charges to fund regulatory work targeting waste crime. We also propose new charges for some activities billed on an hourly rate.Â
Proposals include:Â
- waste exemption charges, to help us ensure they are not used for illegal waste activitiesÂ
- a fee for intervention to recover the costs of investigating waste operations and resolving breaches where we suspect a waste operator lacks required authorisationÂ
- a waste crime levy of 10% on annual subsistence charges for certain waste permits, to enhance our efforts against waste crimeÂ
- updated hourly rates that reflect the current costs of managing environmental permits and applying them to new regulatory workÂ
