Financial directions to NHS England

The government's financial directions to NHS England set out its budgets for each financial year.

The government바카라 사이트™s financial directions to NHS England confirm how its budget is broken down for the year ahead. There is a legal requirement for the financial directions to be laid in Parliament each year before 31 March.

The financial directions set:

  • the opening funding position for the following financial year
  • a closing position for the current financial year

They are revised each year to reflect changes to budgets that have occurred in-year.

Prior to 2023 to 2024, the financial directions were part of the NHS mandate. Under the , the financial directions to NHS England are now required to be published separately.
