Details
Over five million properties in England are at risk from flooding from rivers, seas and surface water. The latest climate projections indicate that the flood risk will increase.
The Environment Agency works with professional partners and the public to:
- manage risk and reduce the probability of flooding and coastal erosion
- reduce the consequences of flooding and coastal erosion
This survey supports the ongoing evaluation of the Environment Agency바카라 사이트™s work with the 바카라 사이트˜at risk바카라 사이트™ population and with the specific Community Engagement Areas (CEAs).
The main objectives of the survey were to understand:
- how aware the 바카라 사이트˜at risk바카라 사이트™ public is of flooding and their flood risk
- what action the public has taken to prepare for flooding
- how the Environment Agency can help improve the public바카라 사이트™s resilience to flooding
The project ran from 2013 to 2016.
