How to apply

To apply for a Childcare Grant follow these steps:

  1. Apply online as part of your main student finance application.

  2. Send in evidence. You바카라 사이트檒l be told what evidence you need to provide when you apply.

  3. You바카라 사이트檒l be sent a letter telling you how much Childcare Grant you바카라 사이트檒l get.

  4. Create an online account with the Childcare Grant Payment Service (CCGPS). You바카라 사이트檒l get an email telling you how to set one up. Your grant will be paid into this account.

Use the paper form instead if you:

  • have already applied for student finance but didn바카라 사이트檛 apply for a childcare grant at the same time
  • want to apply for another child

You can download the form from the student finance form finder.

Use your student finance account to send the form to Student Finance England, or send it by post.

    After you register at your university or college you'll usually get your maintenance loan paid directly into your bank account at the start of each term.

    You'll need to reapply for student finance for each year of your course.

    You must keep your details up to date throughout your course because some changes can affect your loan payments, for example if your household income or bank details change.

    When you stop studying the Student Loans Company (SLC) will create a student loans repayment account for you.

    The log in details will be the same as for your student finance account. You should check your contact details are correct.
