Engine failure during final approach, Netheravon Airfield, Wiltshire, 30 September 2016.

Summary:

At approximately 300 ft agl, during the final approach to land with carburettor heat ON, the aircraft바카라 사이트™s engine began to lose power and failed to respond to control inputs. The pilot carried out a forced landing during which the aircraft바카라 사이트™s left landing gear was damaged. The pilot attributed the loss of engine power to carburettor icing as a result of a malfunction of the carburettor heat system.
