Summary

Special wines (liqueur and/or generous wines):

Category A: It is the dry or sweet wine that, without any additions, has an alcoholic strength not below twelve and a half percent (12 and 1/2% ABV) in volume and/or an acquired and potential alcoholic content not below fifteen degrees (15º GL.);

Category B: It is dry or sweet wine whose alcoholic strength is not below fifteen percent (15% ABV) and comes, in part, from the addition of wine alcohol at any time during its production;

Category C: It is the wine obtained by adding indistinctly, jointly or separately, at any time during its production process, any of the following products: concentrated must, mistelle, grape syrup, grape caramel or wine alcohol with a total alcoholic content not below fifteen degrees (15° GL.).
