TCM1000173 - How to check, establish the reason for, set or remove the Finalisation Inhibited signal
Note: The purpose of setting the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal is to prevent the PY award from finalising to allow amendments to be made on the PY award. It will not be appropriate to set the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal all year round.
Step 1
On the 바카라 사이트˜Function Menu바카라 사이트™
- select 바카라 사이트˜Renewal바카라 사이트™ on the toolbar
- select 바카라 사이트˜Manage Finalisation바카라 사이트™ from the options available. You will be taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Key Entry Data - Applicant바카라 사이트™ screen
Note: When this screen is first displayed, the 바카라 사이트˜Period바카라 사이트™ checkbox will be automatically populated and should not be changed.
- enter the customer바카라 사이트™s NINO
- enter the relevant tax year in the 바카라 사이트˜Period Dates바카라 사이트™ field
- select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™.
If you are taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Select Household바카라 사이트™ screen
- select the relevant household
- select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™. You바카라 사이트™ll be taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Manage Finalisation바카라 사이트™ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Select Tax Credit Period바카라 사이트™ screen
- select the relevant period
- select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™. You바카라 사이트™ll be taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Manage Finalisation바카라 사이트™ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the 바카라 사이트˜Manage Finalisation바카라 사이트™ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the 바카라 사이트˜Manage Finalisation바카라 사이트™ screen
- select 바카라 사이트˜Continue바카라 사이트™. You will be taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Details바카라 사이트™ screen
- go to Step 3.
Step 3
On the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Details바카라 사이트™ screen
If you need to set the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal, go to Step 4.
If you need to remove the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal, go to Step 5.
If you need to check whether the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal has been set, the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ checkbox will be selected in the 바카라 사이트˜Inhibit Finalisation바카라 사이트™ box if the signal has been set.
If you need to establish the reason why the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal has been set, check the 바카라 사이트˜Reason바카라 사이트™ field in the 바카라 사이트˜Inhibit Finalisation바카라 사이트™ box. This will tell you the reason why the signal has been set.
Step 4
On the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Details바카라 사이트™ screen
- select the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ checkbox in the 바카라 사이트˜Inhibit Finalisation바카라 사이트™ box
- select the relevant option from the 바카라 사이트˜Actioned by바카라 사이트™ field
- select the relevant option from the 바카라 사이트˜Reason바카라 사이트™ field
- select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™. The 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal will be set.
Step 5
On the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Details바카라 사이트™ screen
- select the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ checkbox in the 바카라 사이트˜Inhibit Finalisation바카라 사이트™ box to remove the tick
- select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™. The 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal will be removed.
Note: If you are working an HRR or UP renewal case return to your original guidance. Do not follow the actions below.
Note: Removing the 바카라 사이트˜Finalisation Inhibited바카라 사이트™ signal will not prompt the finalisation of the customer바카라 사이트™s PY award. Where the S17 has been returned to HMRC you will need to finalise the customer바카라 사이트™s PY award.
- select 바카라 사이트˜Process바카라 사이트™. You will be taken to the 바카라 사이트˜Process바카라 사이트™ screen
- select 바카라 사이트˜TCO바카라 사이트™ from the 바카라 사이트˜Action Authority바카라 사이트™ field
- select 바카라 사이트˜As Agreed바카라 사이트™ from the 바카라 사이트˜Finalise바카라 사이트™ field
- select 바카라 사이트˜Finalise바카라 사이트™
- where a warning message displays, select 바카라 사이트˜Yes바카라 사이트™
- where an error message displays, select 바카라 사이트˜OK바카라 사이트™ or 바카라 사이트˜Yes바카라 사이트™, as appropriate
- you have finalised the PY award.
