Request your personal information from the Department for Work and Pensions

Find out how to ask for a copy of the information that is held about you. This is called the 'right of access' also known as a subject access request (SAR).

Overview

You can ask the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) for a copy of information that is held about you. These are some examples of what you can ask for:

  • your letter of entitlement or proof of benefit letter (if within the last 5 years)바카라 사이트�
  • the amounts (rates) of benefit you get and the dates you바카라 사이트檙e paid바카라 사이트�
  • your last fit note바카라 사이트�
  • evidence used in a dispute or investigation바카라 사이트�
  • work capability and health assessments바카라 사이트�
  • your Child Maintenance Service account information바카라 사이트�
  • any other information聽DWP聽holds about you

State Pension forecast

If you want to know how much State Pension you could get you can聽check your forecast online.

Proof of a benefit

You can use a proof of benefit letter to show your work history, prove that you live in the UK or that you바카라 사이트檙e entitled to things like:바카라 사이트�

  • funding for eye tests, training and travel바카라 사이트�

How to get proof of a benefit

Contact your benefit office

For information about most benefits you바카라 사이트檒l need to contact the office that pays you. You can find their details on a letter they have sent you, or go to 바카라 사이트 and search for the contact details of the benefit you get.

Request other information DWP holds about you

If you need a copy of any anything else you can바카라 사이트�.바카라 사이트� This form should not be used for聽simple requests such as benefit rates and dates of payment. To get information about these things, find out how to get proof of a benefit.

When to expect a reply

We will send you the information within one calendar month from when we get your request. If we need more information we will contact you .

Access to CCTV footage바카라 사이트�

The company that is responsible for the security of a바카라 사이트�DWP바카라 사이트痮ffice normally controls access to CCTV footage.바카라 사이트繏�

If you want to access CCTV footage containing images of you in a바카라 사이트�DWP바카라 사이트痮ffice, you should request it directly from the security company. Signs in the area covered by the cameras will display the name of the company and how to contact them. As CCTV footage is often only stored for a short time, you should make your request as soon as you can.
