How to create and edit local transaction pages.

Local transaction pages link users to services and information provided by their local council.

When a user enters a postcode, they바카라 사이트™re told the related council and given a link to a relevant page on their website.

Update content

Any changes to the non-link content of the page must be updated by GDS, similar to how mainstream pages are updated.

If you want to update the address or contact details found in the results of 바카라 사이트˜Contact your local registration office바카라 사이트™, you need to instead. The GDS content team cannot update them.

Manage links

You will need access to .

If you do not have access, one of your organisation admins can help with this.

If you바카라 사이트™re the only organisation admin, use the to ask for access to Local Links Manager.

Once you바카라 사이트™re in Local Links Manager, you need to:

  1. Select the 바카라 사이트˜Services바카라 사이트™ tab. You바카라 사이트™ll see all the services currently tagged to your organisation.
  2. Select 바카라 사이트˜Edit바카라 사이트™ next to the service you바카라 사이트™re interested in. You바카라 사이트™ll see the related 바카라 사이트 pages for the service in the 바카라 사이트˜Page title(s) on 바카라 사이트바카라 사이트™ column.
  3. You바카라 사이트™ll see a list of all the broken and missing links picked up by the link checker.
  4. If you want to see all the links, select 바카라 사이트˜Show all links바카라 사이트™. This will show links that are 바카라 사이트˜Good바카라 사이트™, 바카라 사이트˜Pending바카라 사이트™ and those that have a 바카라 사이트˜note바카라 사이트™ attached. A 바카라 사이트˜note바카라 사이트™ shows the page cannot be checked by the link checker, so you may want to visit those manually to see if there are any issues.

Some services work across 2 local transaction pages, so if you update them once they바카라 사이트™ll update on both pages. You can see all the affected pages under 바카라 사이트˜Page title(s) on 바카라 사이트바카라 사이트™.

Some services have multiple 바카라 사이트˜interactions바카라 사이트™ for each council. These are redundant now, and each interaction can be given the same link.

If you find any links that are marked as 바카라 사이트˜Broken바카라 사이트™ but that seem to be working for you, you do not need to take any action. The link checker does not work on certain council websites.

You will need a working link. 

The new link cannot be a direct link to a PDF document. If that바카라 사이트™s the only place where users can find the information, link to the page that hosts the PDF instead.

If you cannot find a working link but you know that the council provides the service, you can link to their homepage or contact details.

If you바카라 사이트™re not sure whether a council provides a service, you can leave it blank and it바카라 사이트™ll be marked as 바카라 사이트˜Missing바카라 사이트™. Users will get a message telling them that we바카라 사이트™re not sure if the council provides the service, and they바카라 사이트™ll be given a link to the council바카라 사이트™s homepage instead.

If you want to update a single link, you need to:

  1. Go to the relevant service.
  2. Search for the name of the local council with the broken or missing link.
  3. Select 바카라 사이트˜Edit바카라 사이트™ next to all the interactions that show up.
  4. Enter the new link and select 바카라 사이트˜Update바카라 사이트™.
  5. Select 바카라 사이트˜Show all links바카라 사이트™ and check the link has updated. It will go live on the site immediately.

If you want to update multiple links at once:

  1. Go to the relevant service.
  2. Select 바카라 사이트˜Download links바카라 사이트™.
  3. Unselect any categories you바카라 사이트™re not interested in. 바카라 사이트˜Caution바카라 사이트™ links are those with a 바카라 사이트˜note바카라 사이트™ attached.
  4. Select 바카라 사이트˜Download links바카라 사이트™.
  5. Open the file in a spreadsheet and add working links to the 바카라 사이트˜New URL바카라 사이트™ column. If the council is listed more than once in the 바카라 사이트˜Authority Name바카라 사이트™ column, add the same link next to each instance.
  6. Save the spreadsheet as a CSV file.
  7. Go back to the transaction and select 바카라 사이트˜Upload links바카라 사이트™.
  8. Select 바카라 사이트˜Choose file바카라 사이트™, choose the updated CSV file and select 바카라 사이트˜Upload links바카라 사이트™.
  9. Select 바카라 사이트˜Show all links바카라 사이트™ and check the links have updated. They will go live on the site immediately.

You cannot mark links as 바카라 사이트˜Missing바카라 사이트™ using this method. You바카라 사이트™ll need to go to each individual link and leave it blank, rather than doing that on the CSV file.

If you want to update links on 바카라 사이트˜Find your local council바카라 사이트™ or the homepage links that appear by default when a link is missing, select the 바카라 사이트˜Councils바카라 사이트™ tab instead. Search for the relevant council, select 바카라 사이트˜Edit바카라 사이트™ next to their name and then 바카라 사이트˜Edit homepage URL바카라 사이트™.

Update the name of a council

If the wrong council shows up when users enter a particular postcode, .

This might be because:

  • a local council has changed its name
  • several local councils have merged together
  • a local council has split apart
  • there바카라 사이트™s an issue with the postcode data
