The government-sponsored Thameslink Programme is an ambitious £7 billion programme of extensive infrastructure enhancements, new trains and a new timetable on one of the busiest and most congested parts of the rail network. It will transform travel across London and the south-east, providing faster, more frequent and more reliable journeys for thousands of passengers.
The Thameslink Programme baseline evaluation study will allow us to evaluate the programme on completion to ensure it is providing value for money for taxpayers and benefitting passengers. This report sets the key targets to enable us to do that, as well as looking at some early impacts of the programme. The data in the report is primarily pre-2013 바카라 사이트“ before the current phase of the Thameslink Programme 바카라 사이트“ and features data on rail performance, train capacity, and National Rail Passenger Survey figures on passenger satisfaction with trains and stations.
This evaluation forms part of the Department for Transport바카라 사이트™s monitoring and evaluation programme.
