Details

The Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) provides the government with external, independent scrutiny of new regulatory and deregulatory proposals. For the 2015-17 parliament the RPC was the appointed Independent Verification Body in respect of the Business Impact Target (BIT), which is a cross-government target for the reduction of regulation on business.

The Secretary of State has a duty to publish a BIT under section 21 of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015, and to report on the government바카라 사이트™s performance against that target. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) published the government바카라 사이트™s final report against the BIT for the 2015/17 parliament on 22nd May 2018.
