Conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) leaves profound and lasting scars on survivors, their children and their communities. We need a stronger international response for all those affected.
The PSVI strategy outlines the UK government바카라 사이트™s ambition to use our diplomacy, development and defence influence to address these appalling crimes.
This strategy has 4 key objectives:
- strengthening the global response to CRSV
- preventing CRSV, including by addressing root causes such as harmful gender norms
- improving justice for all survivors and holding perpetrators to account
- enhancing support for survivors and children born of sexual violence in conflict, including tackling the stigma they face within their communities
New funding of up to £12.5 million over the next 3 years will help to achieve these objectives. Wider investments across FCDO will complement this funding, to address conflict-related sexual violence. A peer-reviewed theory of change underpins the strategy.
