The collection of personal data enables the Forestry Commission to carry out document checks and physical inspections of consignments of regulated wood.聽聽

We will process your data under legal obligation, as a lawful basis drawn from Article 6 (1)c of the GDPR.聽

2.1 What personal data we process聽

We will share your data with Contracted Inspectors in the following circumstances:聽
- to check the importer has provided the correctly completed Notification of Landing and relevant Phytosanitary Certificates
- arrange the necessary physical inspections聽聽
