This guidance is for people who hold a national Clinical Impact Award (NCIA) or national Clinical Excellence Award (NCEA). It covers:
- continued eligibility criteria
- when to tell us if your employment circumstances change
- how to appeal our decision

The section on secondments and sabbaticals has been updated: if you are seconded part time or have a part-time sabbatical and continue some work from your original contract part time, you may be eligible for a pro rata payment.
