There are no plans to update this statistical release. Updated 04 June 2025.

The regulation of small industries by local authorities (i.e. councils, unitary authorities and port health authorities) helps to reduce any pollution they may cause and, in particular, helps to improve air quality.

A local authority바카라 사이트檚 regulatory role encompasses:

• the initial authorisation or 바카라 사이트減ermitting바카라 사이트� of processes;
• inspecting operational installations;
• amending or revoking permits, where necessary; and
• prosecuting operators in those cases where operators fail to comply with regulations.

Defra바카라 사이트檚 Local Pollution Control Statistical Survey (LPCSS) provides an overview of each of these aspects of local authority regulation.
