The regulation of small industries by local authorities (i.e. councils, unitary authorities and port health authorities) helps to reduce any pollution they may cause and, in particular, helps to improve air quality.
A local authority바카라 사이트s regulatory role encompasses:
- the initial authorisation or 바카라 사이트permitting바카라 사이트 of processes;
- inspecting operational installations;
- amending or revoking permits, where necessary; and
- prosecuting operators in those cases where operators fail to comply with regulations.
