You can use the IED cost-benefit analysis tool, if you are:

• applying for an IED derogation
• assessing a request for IED derogation

Follow the user guide which explains what information you need to enter manually and the steps that are automated.

The CBA tool uses the聽, the聽聽that was published in September 2021, and , which were updated in November 2022.

   We have updated the details section of the webpage by removing reference to the 'January 2019 air quality damage costs' and replacing it with the 'May 2020 air quality damage costs'.

   We have published a Beta version of the IED derogation cost-benefit analysis tool which has the January 2019 Air quality damage costs built in. We have updated the user guide by replacing references to DECC with BEIS.
