The Programme aims to make a difference to people바카라 사이트s lives, helping to build the capacity of governments and civil society to promote and protect human rights. In 2013/14, we supported over 80 projects worldwide.

Human rights, democracy and the rule of law are at the heart of the 바카라 사이트바카라 사이트s foreign policy. The HRDP targets areas that are both important to us and where we consider we can make the greatest impact in delivering the FCO바카라 사이트s overarching purpose to 바카라 사이트pursue an active and activist foreign policy, working with other countries and strengthening the rules-based international system in support of our values바카라 사이트.

2014/15 Programme

We are pleased to announce the 2014/15 call for bids. The target thematic areas for 2014/15 are:

바카라 사이트 global torture prevention 바카라 사이트 abolition of the death penalty 바카라 사이트 promotion and protection of freedom of expression 바카라 사이트 upholding freedom of religion and belief 바카라 사이트 women바카라 사이트s rights 바카라 사이트 business and human rights 바카라 사이트 strengthening democratic processes 바카라 사이트 preventing sexual violence

The British Embassy Juba would particularly welcome bids in the thematic areas of: promotion and protection of freedom of expression; strengthening democratic processes; and preventing sexual violence.

The HRDP team in London will not accept proposals submitted directly to them 바카라 사이트 bids should be sent to the British Embassy Juba (ukin.southsudan@fco.gov.uk. The exception is where a proposal covers more than one country, when it should be submitted via the relevant HRDD thematic desk officer in London (see guidance for contact details). The deadline for submitting concept bids to the embassy is close of business Friday 28th February 2014. Concept bids should be no more than three pages in length. Bids will be assessed by the local Programme Board. Successful bidders will be invited to submit a full project proposal by the end of March 2014.

Please assume that your concept bid has been unsuccessful if you do not hear back from the embassy by the end of March 2014. Unfortunately due to the volume of bids we will be unable to provide feedback at this stage.

Full project proposals will be assessed by the local Programme Board and successful bids will be forwarded to the London Programme Board. It is our aim to inform all successful and unsuccessful applicants by the end of May 2014, but this depends on full information from implementers being included in the bid.

Projects

Projects should begin from June 2014 and must be completed by end February 2015. We will fund projects up to a value of £200,000. Projects in excess of that amount may be considered exceptionally.
