Environment Agency regulatory position on retention of artefacts that may contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) by museums for archival, education, research and or display purposes.

This regulatory position statement (RPS) does not change your legal requirements under The Environmental Protection (Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and other Dangerous Substances) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (as amended) 바카라 사이트˜the Regulations바카라 사이트™ to identify, label, register and dispose of equipment that contains PCBs.   

However, the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with these legal requirements relating to artefacts in your collection if you meet the requirements in this RPS.

The regulatory position does not apply to any other legal requirements.
