Ofsted바카라 사이트™s Regional Director for the North West, Chris Russell, has written to all those responsible for overseeing education provision across Greater Manchester and Knowsley. He voiced concerns that:

  • too many pupils attending secondary schools in places like Salford, Rochdale, Oldham and Manchester were not prepared for the next phase of their education, training or employment
  • in 2015, almost two thirds of Knowsley바카라 사이트™s school leavers failed to achieve 5 or more GCSE grades A* to C, including English and mathematics

Sir Michael Wilshaw raised similar concerns in a speech to the Institute for Public Policy Research on 23 February 2016.
