These research reports focus on the experiences of early career teachers (ECTs), mentors and induction tutors involved from the first year of the implementation of the ECF reforms that introduced the 2-year ECF-based induction programmes.

The findings are based on mixed methods research from 2021 to 2024, including:

  • baseline, mid-point and end-point surveys with ECTs, mentors and induction tutors
  • case study interviews in schools
  • interviews with senior leaders and induction tutors
  • discussions with lead providers responsible for coordinating the delivery of provider-led training programmes
  • workshops with mentors
  • analysis of data from the Department of Education바카라 사이트™s continuing professional development digital service and the school workforce census

The latest reports include:

  • a summary report of the full 3-year project, and an accompanying statistical annex
  • findings from the third year of the evaluation
