Ofsted inspected the Isle of Wight바카라 사이트檚 child protection services on 26 November 2012. The , published on 15 January 2013, judged the council as 바카라 사이트榠nadequate바카라 사이트� overall. In response, ministers issued a statutory direction on 6 June 2013 which includes a requirement for the council to establish a strategic partnership with Hampshire County council.

An update to the direction issued on 28 November 2016 reflected the agreed position between the Isle of Wight and Hampshire councils.

The 5-year statutory direction ended on 5 June 2018.
