Dear Cressida,
Report of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel
I am today publishing the Report of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel. This has been a significant undertaking by the panel over the past 8 years, providing an exhaustive account of the tragic circumstances surrounding Daniel바카라 사이트™s murder. I hope that the efforts of the panel provide some comfort to Daniel바카라 사이트™s family.
The report is damning. It finds that examples of corrupt behaviour were not limited to the first investigation, that the Metropolitan Police made a litany of mistakes, and that this irreparably damaged the chances of a successful prosecution of Daniel Morgan바카라 사이트™s murder.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with your response to the panel바카라 사이트™s specific recommendations, as well as the wider findings, as soon as practically possible.
This afternoon I will also ask Sir Tom Winsor to consider whether HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services can look into the concerning issues raised. I will be in touch regarding this in due course.
