Details

Coastal areas in England are invited to apply to establish a Coastal Community Team. These teams will be provided with £10,000 of grant funding via the local authority, to help them develop their economic plan.

Areas wishing to establish a Coastal Community Team should complete the application form and email it to coastalcommunities@communities.gsi.gov.uk.

In 2015 the government provided £1.18 million supporting the establishment of 118 Coastal Community Teams around the coastline of England. Each one is different in scale, membership and ambition 바카라 사이트“ but all are geared towards making their local area better.

The government is impressed with the work undertaken by existing Teams and by the momentum and enthusiasm that becoming a Coastal Community Team has engendered in local communities.

We are aware that many areas who did not apply last year would welcome the opportunity to establish a Coastal Community Team. This prospectus therefore invites such areas in England to apply.
