This qualitative research explores claimants바카라 사이트™ experiences of completing the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP) questionnaires (바카라 사이트˜Capability for Work바카라 사이트™ and 바카라 사이트˜How your disability affects you바카라 사이트™) with the aim of identifying possible improvements. The research also tests whether providing additional information (a combination of descriptions of the PIP application process and of how the assessment works) could improve claimants바카라 사이트™ experience of filling in the PIP application form.
The research consisted of focus groups and interviews conducted with a total of 97 Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applicants and Employment Support Allowance (ESA) claimants.
The findings will be used to inform the department바카라 사이트™s long term thinking for supporting claimants and will inform the development of options on long term benefit reform.
