Tim Flear OBE MVO
Biography
Tim is a career diplomat. From 2011 to 2014 Tim worked in UK Trade and Investment바카라 사이트™s (UKTI) London headquarters. His previous job was promoting the UK바카라 사이트™s creative industries sector, in particular from an inward investment perspective.
Tim has had diplomatic postings in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul where he headed the embassy바카라 사이트™s inward investment operation and science and technology activities. His last overseas posting was as Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Consul General in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil from 2006 to 2010, in a predominately trade and investment-related role.
At other points in his career Tim has been a Deputy Director for policy and communications in the FCO바카라 사이트™s Consular Directorate and - relevant to Milan and 2015 - the FCO바카라 사이트™s Expo lead and British representative to the Paris-based International Bureau of Expositions.
He was made a member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO) by Her Majesty The Queen in 1989 during a State Visit to Malaysia.
