Biography
As Head of UK 바카라 사이트 Office Raleigh, Justin Sosne currently serves as the British government바카라 사이트™s lead on-the-ground political and commercial representative to his home state of North Carolina.
In his role, Justin represents the UK government on North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper바카라 사이트™s Taskforce for Offshore Wind Economic Resources Strategies (NC TOWERS). He also serves as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill바카라 사이트™s Centre for European Studies, and as a board member for the non-profit Communities in Schools of North Carolina.
Justin previously worked for over six years as vice president and senior director at BowerGroupAsia (BGA), a leading Asia-focused government affairs consulting firm. During his tenure, Justin oversaw talent as a member of the firm바카라 사이트™s executive leadership team and advised Fortune 500 companies on strategies to expand their businesses, mitigate political and economic risk, and build partnerships in 25 markets across the Indo-Pacific.
Prior to joining BGA, Justin led diplomatic, policy and programmatic efforts designed to empower women and girls globally, particularly in combating climate change, in the Secretary바카라 사이트™s Office of Global Women바카라 사이트™s Issues at the U.S. Department of State. While at State, he completed a detail to The Coca-Cola Company, where he advised on the company바카라 사이트™s flagship 5by20 women바카라 사이트™s empowerment initiative and engaged with senior foreign leaders on the company바카라 사이트™s behalf.
Before joining the U.S. government, Justin participated in the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also conducted research on United Nations peacekeeping at the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin, Germany.
Justin graduated with a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
