Biography
Professor Julie Fitzpatrick was appointed Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) for Scotland in June 2021.
This is a part-time position. Julie also remains Scientific Director of Moredun Research Institute and CEO of The Moredun Foundation. She also holds a Chair in Food Security at the University of Glasgow바카라 사이트™s College of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences.
Chief Scientific Adviser for Scotland
The Chief Scientific Adviser for Scotland is responsible for:
- providing expert scientific advice to the Scottish 바카라 사이트 about science-related issues, evidence and new developments that may have an impact on its work
- championing the use of science to inform policy development across the Scottish 바카라 사이트
- supporting Scotland바카라 사이트™s world-leading science base and its potential to benefit Scotland바카라 사이트™s economy, people and environment
