Our EDI objectives

Over the next 3 years (2025-28), our specific equality objectives, as set out in the DBS Strategy, are for DBS to: 

  • Be responsive to evolving staff and customer needs and expectations in the decisions that we take and the products and services we offer as well as supporting and encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion learning for staff 

  • Improve understanding of staff and customers from diverse backgrounds through engagement and data capture opportunities, to enable the active development of policy and service changes, and track impact

Equality Act 2010
